Wiley Author Agreement

You can find the open access agreement in Author Services once the item has been accepted. For magazines that have decided not to use the authorisation services, the agreement is available in the magazine`s editorial staff. Through CHORUS, Wiley supports public access to research funded by the Smithsonian Institution. Green Open Access The accepted version of the article will be made available free of charge after a 12-month embargo period (from the first online publication) according to the public access plan in the Wiley online library. Chorus also directly connects the Smithsonians Public Access interface to the Public Article of the Wiley Online Library. The accepted version of the article must also be archived in the Smithsonian Research online repository itself. Gold Open Access For authors who choose to publish Gold Open Access (where the publishing fee is paid), Wiley will publish the final article access to the fully opened publication under a Creative Commons license and will forward, if necessary, the published version of the article to PubMed Central. The accepted version of the article or the version of the data recording must also be archived in the Smithsonian Research online repository itself. For more information, see the Smithsonian Public Access Plan. The author asks for permission to use the material that the author has previously published: the author concerned is responsible for obtaining written permission to reproduce the material “printed and other media” by the publisher of the original source and to give this permission to Wiley.

A RightsLink function to request permission for Wiley magazines is available on each newspaper`s website. The author concerned is also responsible for sending and returning to the publisher the journal-specific copyright transfer form and all the forms required for a given review. These forms are usually available on each magazine`s website. The forms may also be available in the journal`s editorial staff. Gold Open Access For authors funded by the Telethon, the payment of online publication fees or Wiley Open Access is paid directly by the Telethon, without the author having to pay a fee. Authors can publish in a fully open newspaper or in a subscription journal that offers the Open-Access OnlineOpen option. If an author sends an article to a newspaper that doesn`t usually offer an online open, Wiley can allow authors to select online features. In such cases, if the publication article has been adopted, the author must inform the editor of his intention to select desopes online. For more information, see the Telethon`s “Open Access” directive. Green Open Access HHMI Authors can submit the accepted version of the article to PubMed Central (PMC) for publication after a 12-month embargo period (from the first online version).
