The MoU also provides for access to longer pro-rated service leave after seven years of service (even if the employment relationship ends after seven years). The ANMF (Vic Branch) and Lifeblood agreed that nurses working in Lifeblood`s DonateLife department would move to a separate agreement working in donor services due to the significant difference in the nature of their work. The new DonateLife corporate agreement is being discussed with all stakeholders, including the Australian Red Cross, the Victorian Public Health Service, which employs two care coordinators for fundraising services, and the Victorian Ministry of Health. The ANMF will continue to keep members informed if negotiations progress in 2021. The MoU contains a 3.17% increase in reimbursement from the first full salary period on or after 1 January 2020 and a 2% increase in salaries and allowances from the first full salary period on or after 1 January 2021.
